Barry started the firm in 1979 with Doug Peterson after having obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1971. Since that time, Barry has become a highly esteemed member of the accounting community. Barry received the prestigious Fellow of the Chartered Accountants award in 2005.
In addition to Barry’s commitment to the accounting profession, Barry is passionate about giving back to his community. Barry has served as the past Chair of a wide range of Boards, including Athabasca University, the ICAA Merit Review Committee, the ICAA Practice Review Committee, and the Bissell Centre Annual Gala.
When Barry is not in the office assisting his clients he can be found traveling the world with his wife, spending time with his grandchildren, or enjoying a 20 year old scotch by the fireplace.
